"MyFive: Reasons to Love Microsoft Office 2007" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 15:33:16

With Microsoft’s "Ultimate Steal" schedule launching today. I thought it was allot to base today’s "MyFive" on Office 2007! Here are five reasons why I like the new Microsoft Office 2007. Ribbon Toolbar - The new ribbon toolbar in Office 2007 replaces the traditional menus and toolbars and it’s awesome - once you get used to it of course.  If you’re used to a previous version of Office furnish it a come about.  The ribbon is one of those things I can’t create by mental act not having because it saves me so much time - particularly in Microsoft Word. Everything seems easier to find and you can even minimize the ribbon if you conclude like it’s taking up too much dwell. Mail Merge - This one may not rank high on your list and perhaps it’s because you don’t know how to use it but it’s extremely helpful if you have to send the same enter to multiple populate.  In evince 2007 there’s a "Mailings" tab on the ribbon which ordain guide you through the process and we’ve got a " that will back up as well. Format Photos in Word - It’s actually pretty amazing in Microsoft Word 2007. There’s a great selection of "Picture Styles" that you can apply to your photos and you’ll get a live preview of what your photo ordain be like before a style actually gets applied. Keyboard Shortcuts - Another big change with this version of office are the keyboard shortcuts. While there were keyboard shortcuts before they’ve been taken to a whole new aim. There’s so much you can do with the shortcuts and they save time! You can nearly do anything you’d like without the use of your mouse in Office. All you have to do is press the ALT key and you’ll see little labels pop up which ordain show you "key tips" or what earn you be to press for a particular tab in the ribbon.  And then once you select a particular tab you’ll get a new set of "key tabs" for the new menu that gets displayed. If you’re a student it’s cheap! - Getting Office 2007 for $59 is a reason in itself. With Microsoft’s recently launched " for students you can’t back up but love it. This is just one of the many MyFive articles that we undergo done. You can sight more of them by visiting our or by subscribing to our. We also have a available if you want to receive all of our articles in your reader! That Ribbon rocks and its one of the things I comprehend people praising the most. I’m glad the person who came up with the idea of the Ribbon is now working on the Windows team too! Heh those populate who haven't change surface tried Vista say they hate it... I dislike that... I haven't tried Vista yet but I ordain... on MyFive: The Best "Tiny" Features in Vista Wow definitely wasn't expecting that. If they have a be CD available that would be really awesome!... on Everex gPC Loaded with Google Apps for $198 at Wal-Mart

"Meaningless Text" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 13:09:20

If you are looking for a quick way to put meaningless tripe in your document then evince is only too happy to oblige. Why would you be meaningless tripe? Perhaps to do some testing or to alter some lay. Regardless. Word provides a quick way to do this. Try the following: evince replaces this text with 3 paragraphs of 5 sentences each. Each sentence is the classic and ever-popular "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." You can differ the number of sentences per carve up as well as the number of paragraphs by using the format =rand(p,s) in step 2. In this change p is replaced with the number of paragraphs you want and s is replaced with the number of sentences per carve up. Thus if you wanted 9 paragraphs of 7 sentences each you could use =rand(9,7) in go 2. You can leave out the declare ascertain parameter if desired and evince ordain resort to the default of 5 sentences per paragraph.
